Oh what a beautiful day! Caleb and Alyssa are such sweet, loving people that I knew this day would be easy and fun. They are genuinely sweet, always concerned about others, and 100% crazy about each other! Our formal portrait time with the bride and groom was cut short and when I knew I only had minutes to capture some shots of the two of them, I knew we would be ok because they naturally interact so beautifully and are so in love and happy that it took very little direction from me to photograph them as newlyweds! I had a great time photographing and being a part of the start of their life together and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for these two!

This precious family – They’re very special to me. When I’ve been there for a couple’s wedding and I get to photograph their family as it grows and to meet their new babies and hear all about how they came into the world, it makes me very thankful to be a photographer. I love newborn sessions, capturing that fresh baby, that in a month will already look so different and will have grown so much and stretched out their little legs – it is priceless! I had the honor of photographing the second baby of this beautiful family, little Miles. You may remember Quinn as a newborn, or here as a six month old, or at one, or two…yeah she’s pretty common on my blog! 🙂 Well, here’s her baby brother and I personally hope he visits me as often as Quinn did 🙂 Is he not PRECIOUS?!?

Well this session was really down to the wire! This beautiful mama-to-be is due in TEN DAYS and we had to reschedule a couple of times because of the weather – but we finally got this session in before their sweet baby girl arrives! Oh – and did I mention that this is my sister-in-law and her husband?? Yeah – so that sweet baby girl growing in that cute belly is my niece!! We are all so so excited for them and cannot wait to meet her! These two are great people and I’m thankful to have them as family – and as a shameless plug for my talented brother-in-law – John started a music academy here in Indy – it’s called Vibe Music Academy and it is the best! Two of my girls have taken lessons for over a year now and we cannot say enough great things about the organization – SO – if you have kids that want to get into music lessons or know anyone or maybe you want to take lessons – call him up! You won’t regret it. Ok – I’ll stop gushing about them now and post some photos of this sweet couple – thanks for checking it out! <3

This wedding is a special one. I went to high school with this beautiful bride (wasn’t that just a couple of years ago??) and we’ve kept in touch through the years, both getting into photography and motherhood – we even coordinated a hospital stay for our third babies 😉 and when Katie contacted me to talk about the photography for her own wedding I was so flattered to be asked to photograph her and Jeremy’s wedding. They are BOTH photographers (no pressure, right?) and both wonderful, sweet people. It was a GORGEOUS day and they were a dream to photograph. I’ll stop blabbing on about their wonderfulness and show you some favorites from before their ceremony…

Want to know a cool perk of being a photographer? It’s when you get to take someone’s senior pictures, and then years later take their engagement photos. Oh – couple that with the fact that this guy is part of a family that my husband grew up with and practically called his second family- pretty cool. Their family is the cream of the crop and Caleb is no exception. I was so flattered and thrilled to have them contact me to photograph their wedding and let me tell you, I don’t know that I’ve photographed a more adorable, snuggly, giggly couple in all my life. What a dream. I joked with them that I barely gave any direction at all because everything they did naturally ended up looking beautiful, so I just stayed quiet and photographed them! They have been so patient while they waited for these images during my busy season, so without making them wait any longer – here are some of my favorites from their engagement session at Butler’s Holcomb Gardens. Caleb & Alyssa, thank you for choosing me and I CANNOT wait until your wedding!
