I love these guys. We’ve known them for years – over a decade even. I love working with close friends like this – it’s fun to know the personalities of your clients and have that added sense of comfortability – on both sides. This was a fall mini session from last year. I am so appreciative of the families that come out for the mini session dates. They’re always so flexible and sweet. Well, I could go on and on about how beautiful these girls are – but I’ll tell you that it’s not just skin deep, and here are some of my favorites from their mini session!

Thanks for stopping by!

Another beautiful family with two boys! I love seeing how kids have grown from year to year. These boys are getting so big! We had a chilly (AND SUPER WINDY) day for this session but it ended up being great and everyone toughed out the cold for a quick session outside. I feel like these kids could have have behaved better – posing so well and giving me their authentic smiles and laughs the entire time. This family has a precious way of interacting and just loving each other than photographs so well…which is why I ended up with SO many images (over 100!) for their mini session, and an enormous preview. I can’t get enough of them – and cute outfits on top of it? Yes please. Well done, McGrew family…you nailed your mini session, again 🙂

Any family that has more than one boy has my full respect 🙂 This adorable family was so easy to photograph, the time flew by! They interact so sweetly and the boys are so full of energy and laughter….it was really a fun session. I had way too many favorites so get comfortable…

  • Chelsea - There aren’t enough words to describe how much I love these pictures!! Thank you for capturing our boys and family so well!!

I had been looking forward to meeting this little girl for months. Her family is just adorable and sweet and I’ve seen little Jackson a few times now! He was hilariously uninterested in taking a photo with his new baby sister, but she was perfectly fine modeling solo. I truly adore newborn photography – a valid excuse for me to snuggle and stare at a precious new baby is hardly work, and I am thankful every time someone entrusts me with their new little one. They change so very much in those first few weeks, it’s special to document how they looked when they were first born. Those first days when life is busy and tiring and chaotic. These are the pictures you can look back on later and treasure. Here are some of my favorites from Averie’s newborn session…thanks for taking the time to look around.
